Update on the herd

So it's summer which in my memory is the best time of the year..no school, pool days, sleeping in my swim suit.  Truth is I never left the pool, and if there was down time we raided the pantry and had a lemonade stand. This wasn't a normal lemonade stand..we sold fruit roll ups, ritz crackers (by the cracker.) Honey on wheat sandwiches. It would all be going quit famously until my mother would come out and explain we were selling things for far less than they were worth.!!! What!!! Alright, sell everything for 50cents rather than 25cents, jackpot. Memories aside, this is not the reality now. Summer is rough!

The kids are on high octane, and have more energy than they can burn..go mommy, go! We joined the Jewish Community Center. After much research it has the best pool, water slides, lazy river, indoor outdoor parks. etc. And they are so nice to me. Public areas (stores, museums, have lessened there kind eye toward my herd.) We are loader, and faster, and cover alot of space in very little time. So when the people at the JCC offer daily to open door, herd my crew, and give exceptions after exceptions..we likey.

Our backyard and driveway have been unusable for a month. I have had workers walk off the job and leave us with a dirt pile that would make any two year old giddy with excitement. In hopes to limit the tubs to 2 a day I have canceled there access to the dirt and dust. The dog however brings it all in with her to ease any need for cleanliness...aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Dog..shedding and has no fence to keep her from chasing every squirrel. No seriously black hair all the time. The kids officially know how to swifer.

Brent front- aaah The kids when asked about dad answer by saying "work." Brent has been working more than sleeping, eating, or playing, and in my book that's to much. But he makes up for it with games of monster and tickle fest. 

Overall I believe we are living the the dream..aka (i am so tired all the time I am in pera dream state.) But the kids are happy and surprisingly the parents are too. Sending summer wishes to all.
