Well last year I joked about having a colorful tree next year given our tree barely had a needle on by Christmas Day. So I asked the boys what color tree we should do....lethal I know. Lincoln being Lincoln was most concerned when he went to Home Depot and saw all the cars with trees on top and realized...."Mom we don't have a tree!!" It was November...and no joke there were tears...big waterfall tears. Oh Linka.
So you can imagine Lincoln became the obvious choice, so much so that all the boys said "Lincoln don't worry we will get a tree."
So Lincoln what color tree do you want?......................
GOLD MAMA GOLD!
Really a solid gold dancer shiny crazy?! I know they have made a comeback but a little nervous not having a real tree
So Gold it is and when the box arrived Lincoln's reaction was hilarious, A combination of spitting tears, and fans for farms ripping the plastic from the glimmery tree.
I have learned it is almost impossible to photograph the solid gold dancer tree in all it's glory. The kids have decorated it and redecorated it...lets just say it is bottom heavy with ornaments!
