The last two months have been saturated with grandparents, so much to the point my kids keep going into the guest room expecting there to be a sleepy grandparent to wake..even better they knock hard on the guest bathroom door waiting for Grandpa to BOO!
Julie (Brent's mom) came to take care of the kids while I slipped away to New Mexico.. (a much needed escape.) It was so appreciated. Thank you again Julie. I was a little freaked out leaving four with her alone....(the woman had 10 children and has 19+ grand children) But the fear is my children would finally take her down...Of course that wasn't the case instead it would seem she did my daily life in a breeze. The boys love her so. And Brent sure loved having his mom to hang with too. When she left there were sad sighs from all my boys in the house.
Then as tradition my parents came to my house for Thankgiving. It was a marathon of good food and constant play. Bestafar (grandpa) was a total hit! I had flash backs to when i was little with him. The same games never fail. My Father is a tall guy and you would think there would be hesitation from the boys to play with him..nope not a second passed before they were wedging themselves by his side and egging him on to chase them. Bestamore (Grandma) was in high hugging and kissing gear. They think she's the Brunett Momma (she sounds and has manerisms like me.) The day they left the house was quiet....yes quiet i kept thinking they must be sulking.."man, now there is only mom to play with."

looks like so much fun. what did you go to new mexico for? i bet it was strange being away from the boys.
i still have a hard time every time i leave aaron jr for more than an hour.
